This explains what Caffeo collects when you order ahead on this website or through an AI assistant, and what we do with it. No account or sign-in is needed to order.
What we keep
- Your order: the drinks, prices, tax, total, pickup code and the times it was placed, paid, started and made.
- How AI assistants use ordering: which ordering step an assistant called, its name, and any error it got, for 90 days, so we can fix problems. This isn't linked to you or your order.
- Payment references: Stripe's reference numbers for your payment, so we can match and refund it. We never see or store your card number.
- Assistant orders: if an AI assistant placed the order, the name its software reports (for example "Claude").
- Distance when you tap Start: your phone sends its location once, only when you tap Start. We use it to check you're near Caffeo, and keep only the rounded distance (for example "40 m"), not the location itself.
What others handle
- Stripe processes your payment and may ask for your email to send a receipt. Stripe's own privacy policy applies to what you enter on its payment page.
- Cloudflare runs this website. Your IP address is used briefly to limit abuse (too many requests) and isn't stored with your order.
- Your AI assistant's provider sees what you tell the assistant. Their privacy policy applies to that conversation.
On your phone
We use no tracking or advertising cookies. Your browser keeps your current cart on your phone so it isn't lost if you leave the page.
Why and how long
We use this information only to make, track and refund your order, prevent abuse, and keep the business records the law requires. We don't sell it or use it for advertising. Order records are kept as long as needed for accounting and tax purposes.
